FRC Mentor Meetings - 9/21 & 10/5

Hello Wisconsin Teams,

This blog post comes from Emma Schuff, one of our local FIRST Senior Mentors, who is kicking off the 2023-2024 FIRST Robotics Competition Season, CRESCENDO℠ presented by Haas with these first two meetings.

Hello FRC Mentors and Coaches!

I am excited to welcome you all back to another exciting FIRST Season. For those of you that don't know me, I am Emma, one of your local FIRST Senior Mentors. My job is to support each and every one of YOU! One way I provide support is through monthly FRC mentor calls, where FIRST WI staff answers mentor questions, we have discussion on important topics in the state, and much more!

I am excited to share that we have two virtual season "kickoff" calls coming up to start the season on 9/21/23 at 6:30pm and 10/05/23 at 6:30pm. We may discuss different topics for each meeting so I encourage you to join both if you are able!

I'd appreciate your participation in these upcoming mentor meetings. FIRST Wisconsin is currently in the process of defining it's long-term strategic plan, as part of this process we'll need to make decisions this season, which will define our goals around team sustainability and growth for the next few years.

These meetings are your opportunity to ask questions, share your opinions, and identify concerns as we scale-up the FIRST program in Wisconsin and increase participation for students across the state.
